I created this layout using the June 2010 MW Express kit: Debonair. Love the circular journaling paper from My Mind's Eye that came with the kit. I maximized it's use by trimming it - under the photos you'd see that I cropped the paper so I can use it for other layouts/projects. Good way to get more bang for your buck!

I created these simple clothes-pin clips to attach greeting cards to two gift bags. I used the tiny Pink Paislee alpha letter stickers to include the recipient's names - I put Glossy Accents on the stickers to help them stay on - and to provide a little dimension. The green "argyle" pattern is the Artisan tape from the kit. I simply adhered it to the clothespin and trimmed the excess. Easy!

I love all the green papers and accents from the June 2010 MemoryWorks Express kit! I created this layout to hold memorabilia from our recent trip to see Wicked in San Francisco. The ticket holder is a Creative Imaginations; Creative Cafe tag. I folded it and adhered only the bottom to create a pocket. Thanks for looking!

I created this kit using the June 2010 Debonair MW Express Kit! This card is sooo simple to make! Just fold the white card in half, then fold 1" over from the front cover and adhere to make the front of the "shirt". I used brown ink to color the chipboard buttons - which I threaded with a piece of the jute and adhered with glue dots.

I created this kit using the March 2010 MW Express kit. I also used American Crafts thickers for the word "rain" not included with the kit. I adhered some of the Pebbles, Inc. pearls to the flowers on the yellow flowered jouranling block - it really helped "bling it up"! Thanks for looking!

I created this "You are my Sunshine" mini card using the Bo-Bunny orange polka dot mini-card included with the March 2010 MemoryWorks Express kit. I punched a scalloped circle (Fiskars XL Seal of Approval (FK010) to create a window and adhered a Making Memories circle to the inside of the card. The word sunshine was added using the new Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type alphabet stickers in cream. Thanks for looking!

I created this "Spring Bliss" mini card using the Bo-Bunny cream polka dot mini-card included with the March 2010 MemoryWorks Express Kit. I punched 3 circles and used the Tim Holtz sanding grip (TH018) to distress the flowers. I added a chipboard button and pearl for the flower center. I used the new Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type letters in cream to add the word "Spring" to the Tim Holtz Word Adage ticket and inked the elements with Colorbox chalk in dark brown. Thanks for looking!

I created this topiary of paper flowers using the March 2010 MemoryWorks Express kit. I used about 22 scalloped and plain circles (Fiskars XL Round n’ Round (FK008) and XL Seal of Approval (FK010) punches) punched from the adorable polka dot Bo-Bunny cardstock and the Pat-a-Cake sheet from October Afternoon. I used the Ranger mini mister (RA049) to lightly spray water on the punched circles, then scrunched them with my hand. I used glue dots to add a variety of centers on the flowers – from chipboard buttons, to pearls and jewels and flowers included in the express kit. Then, I covered a 4" styrofoam ball with the flowers by pinning them to the ball with pearl straight pins (I purchased those pins at Walmart for $1.67!) I glued a small wooden stake into the styrofoam ball and put flower foam in the flower pot to hold the topiary. I cut a 12"x.5" strip of the Pat-a-Cake paper, then used decorative scissors to cut the edge of the strip in order to decorate the flower pot, added Easter grass and a couple Petaloo flowers to finish it off. A fun, and simple project!

I created this layout using the Simple Stories: Life Documented Collection. This layout actually goes next to the 33 years layout in my album...from the same day (see that idea gallery post). In addition to the kit, I used the Creative Imaginations Mixed tag set and ribbon from a former MW Express kit. Thanks for looking!

I've been enjoying playing with the new collection and am absolutely in love. It's SO easy, looks great, and is giving me a stress-free way to scrapbook about our family memories in 2010!
I have my 2010 album more than half way done after only working on it for about 30 minutes!! Yes, this COMING year's album! I'll complete the album by selecting my 10 or so favorite photos each month and sliding them in the 4x6" slots in the We R MemoryKeepers page protectors (which are included with the kit). Remember, it's a WORK IN PROGRESS...
This photos is of the cover page. Thus far, I used my Fiskars paper trimmer and easily cut the 12 month cardstock journaling cards out, and slid them each in a page protector page. An awesome feature of these cards is that they're not only printed on heavyweight acid-free cardstock, but they're also DOUBLESIDED. I love every single design and pattern and love how they coordinate to create journaling blocks within my album...and I get to use both sides because you can see through the page protectors!
Now, I'll just add journaling and photos each month, then embellish with the beautiful cardstock stickers or included downloadable elements. I can also add 12x12 scrapbook pages or any additional pages into the album as I go - in case I want to highlight special events throughout the year. That's the beauty of using a D-Ring (3-Ring) album instead of a post-bound album. It gives you the flexibility to easily add and move things around where a post-bound would be more challenging!
I also love that I can store the unused kit elements right in my album in the 12x12 page protectors so they're on hand when I'm ready to add to my album! This way I can take it to a crop with a paper trimmer and pen - and that's IT!
All in all, this kit is an amazing, scrapbook mind-set altering experience! It will change the way you scrapbook - making it much more stress-free to capture your year-long memories.
